Start:
Prepare a space to safely remove items and store them around your unit. Open your unit. It should look something like this to start.
Step 1:
Pull out the foam surrounding the main chassis.
Step 2:
Unscrew the 8 screws holding the chassis cover in place. Use the provided tool in your kit to do this. Be sure to not strip the screws. Save and set them aside.
Step 3:
Once the chassis cover is removed, this is what you should see.
Step 4:
Remove the remaining foam from inside the case.
Step 5:
Gently pull out the air tube ends and snip off the small zip tie holding the larger black tube.
Step 6:
Pull out the air tube lines and disconnect the large black tube from the front plate.
Step 7:
Disconnect the fan wire that runs along the side of the main chassis from the circuit board. Carefully set this aside.
Step 8:
Gently disconnect all remaining wires from the circuit board.
Step 9:
With both hands, pull out the main chassis. The white plastic sides will come along with it. This is how your unit should look once finished.
Step 10:
Locate the front plate and remove it with the appropriate size hex wrench that was included with your kit. Save and set the removed screws aside.
Step 11:
locate the 4 small screws on the bottom of the device that hold in the circuit board. Using the smaller included hex wrench and socket tool, remove the nuts that secure the circuit board. Remove the board.
Step 12:
Place the Maus-Tec Tremble-Me-Not board in the same location as the one you just removed. Replace the standoffs and use the included socket tool to hold onto the nuts while tightening the screws from the back of the case. (This is a little tricky, but you can do it!)
Step 13:
Place the Maus-Tec Tremble-Me-Not front panel into the open section on the case. Use the included hex wrench to securely fasten it with the original screws you removed earlier.
Step 14:
Connect the front panel power lead to the lower power control board.
Step 15:
Use the included ribbon cable to connect the upper logic board to the lower power board.
Step 16:
Remove the old fitting from the air tubes and attach the Cross fitting. Note that the pressure sense connection may differ from the one shown here.
Step 17:
Attach the 2 air valve wires to the circuit board.
Step 18:
Attach the main chassis wires to the lower power board, noting that the smaller black wire should connect to the “Blue LED” connector. Once connected, replace the main chassis, aligning the white plastic hooks over the standoffs and on top of the lower foam pad (just like you removed it).
Step 19:
Push the large black tube into the correct position on the face plate. Use the included zip tie to securely fasten it.
Step 20:
Connect the pressure sense tube from the lower power board to the pressure valve cross fitting. Note that this connection design may vary. Insert the one-way valves into the slots on the face plate.
Step 21:
Connect the fan wire to the circuit board. Ensure that the wire is carefully laid back on top of the white plastic, and is not pinched or bent by the metal posts and chassis.
Step 22:
Replace the lower foams.
Step 23:
Replace the chassis cover and use the included large hex tool to screw it back into place with the 8 screws you saved at the beginning. Replace remaining foams.
